The team at Pocket App is proud to announce that CEO, Paul Swaddle, has been shortlisted as a finalist for both the Creative Industries Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the Media Disruptor Entrepreneur of the Year Award in this years’ Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

The awards ceremony takes place on 19th November 2014 at Old Billingsgate in Central London, and these awards are recognised as the benchmark for entrepreneurial success in the UK and this year an elite panel of 38 judges will determine which of the inspiring entries will be recognised as the entrepreneurial leaders of Britain today.

Paul Swaddle has been working at the leading edge of mobile technology for the past 15 years and he co-founded Pocket App in 2011 with the intention of bringing the creative and technical development elements of mobile technology together under one roof.

Paul Swaddle comments: “I’m immensely proud and honoured to be shortlisted for two such prestigious awards. It shows that hard work, an inquisitive nature and the support of a great team can lead to amazing achievements.”

Simon Burton, Founder of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards said, “Entrepreneurs are the lifeblood of the economy. They question the received wisdom, drive change and create opportunities. Entrepreneurs rescue failing industries and invent entirely new ones. They create jobs and solve problems. Entrepreneurs make something of nothing.”

The awards ceremony in November will see VIPs from the worlds of business and entrepreneurship gathering to celebrate entrepreneurial spirit in the UK.
