With the holiday season fast approaching and a somewhat challenging Christmas just around the corner, there are a host of festive apps you can download to keep everyone entertained this year and keep things virtual and festive. The pocket app team have had a look through the app stores and here are a few of our favourites:
Elfster is the UK’s number 1 ‘Secret Santa’ generator available on web, iOS and Android. This cute little app allows you to enter into a Secret Santa draw with your friends, family or work colleagues, and will send the gifts directly to the correct people through Amazon.
Wishlist – you are able to create a wish list on the app for your ‘Santa’ to draw inspiration from.
Sharing – easy to invite people through email, Facebook and WhatsApp.
Contact-free gifting – the gifts are bought through the app and will be sent directly to the correct person’s home address.
#2 Christmas List
Use this clever app to create wishlists for yourself or with your kids to make sure that everyone gets what they wished for this Christmas. The app is free and simple to use, and lists can be easily shared with family and friends.
Track my spending – you can set budgets for each family member and view your total overall cost before paying the balance.
No ads – safe and easy to use by all family members.
No duplicate gifts – once you’ve purchased a gift, this will disappear from the other family members’ view so you don’t have to worry about copying someone else!
#3 Message from Santa!
If you have some true believers in your house, add some excitement to their day by arranging a call with Santa! You can enter a reason for Santa to call, such as being good in school, being nice to their siblings, or even ensuring that Santa is real!
Make it personal – you can enter the child’s name, age, interests and hobbies so that ‘Santa’ can mention them when he calls.
Text Santa – your child can text their wishlist to Santa using the app.
Birthday wish – you can even arrange for Santa to call on their birthday!
What ever you are doing this festive period stay safe, keep it virtual where possible and we look forward to working with many of you in the new year.
