Apps World is Europe’s largest gathering of passionate developers, mobile and marketing professionals. It is the only event to focus on the end-to-end process of app conception. From idea, investment and start-up through to design, development and marketing. Thousands of mobile professionals like ourselves gather in London to celebrate the most forward-thinking coding techniques, ground-breaking technology and most innovative apps. This year’s Apps World focused on four different themes, namely Mobile Marketing, Developers, Start-up and Bot World.
This year we showcased full suite of app development and mobile consultancy options to perspective customers. Exhibitions like this provide organisations like ourselves with a great platform to meet the end user and sell in any new solutions that they may have been working on over the past year. From a PR perspective, exhibitions are great as they are often frequented by journalists and so give us a chance to show off our successes and provide key industry insights.
This year we were interviewed by Cloud Moves TV and TechTalk Radio. Both interviews were a great opportunity to talk about the innovative work that we have been recently undertaking. We also spoke about our thoughts on the growing need for digital transformation and mobile innovation across a variety of sectors and services, as well as giving our predictions for developments in the mobile and app sectors in 2017.
In addition to this, we were accompanied by one of our customers Vita Coco, also a key speaker at the Mobile Leaders Summit and gave a thrilling presentation on “Vita Coco Palm Reader App: Creating the Right Sales Support Platform”. The presentation looked at Why Vita Coco choose Pocket App over competitors, what, why & how the APP supports Vita Coco internally, and lastly how much time and money have Vita Coco saved by having this new platform.
This year with the focus on four different themes and the introduction of VR and AI revolutions, the landscape of the mobile industry is constantly shifting and in the never-ending book of mobile app development, conferences like Apps World provide a fascinating insight into the future.
