A gardening focused community application complete with social media function, extensive plant database with care advice , plant identification tool and editorial content. Powered by the UK’s largest gardening website. The RHS award winning organisation utilised pocket apps technology expertise to translate 20 years of knowledge into a react native application with custom php backend with integrations into their e-commerce and legacy plant databases.

Our process

The core principle of the platform was to break barriers down from the gated community of horticulture. Translating the rich knowledge and leveraging the existing crocus loyal customers vast knowledge to engage with a new generating of budding gardeners. Through engagement with their existing customer base we designed a one stop gardening hub to create a new channel for crocus to use for brand engagement and light marketing of their e-commerce platform.

The results

The highly successful app has been featured on the App Store and consistently review highly by its active users. The app to date has exceeded most KPIs in terms of downloads, active users and social media activity. With constant updates and a roadmap of features the app continues to engage with its users and now looks to evolve this engagement into a direct funnel for their e-commerce platform with exclusive offers and promotions.
